The following donations were recommended by Kenilworth Lions’ Community Service Committee and agreed unanimously by Lions members at the January members meeting:

• £2,000 was donated to Myton Hospice to fund specialist palliative care for Kenilworth residents in their in-patient units.
• £1,500 was donated to the ILEAP charity to fund the provision of weekend stay and play sessions for disabled children and their parents at the Kenilworth Centre.
• £1000 was donated towards the costs of specialist rehab sessions for a young child who needs to recover from a potentially life-threatening condition.

A total of £4,500 has been donated this month
