Each young person will be provided with a logbook in which to record their volunteering activity. These activities are in several different categories – all hours can be from the same activity or from a variety of different volunteering activities.
Categories could include; helping at school / youth clubs, charity shops, helping the elderly, family members or the homeless. It could also include protecting our environment, assisting fundraising or welfare activities and more. Young people (16 to 18 years) may also wish to assist at the Kenilworth Lions furniture store on Saturday mornings or at some of our annual community events. All these activities count as hours towards the award.
